Blizzard grants all fans of Twinks in World of Warcraft a nice bonus. Island expeditions provide some experience points.
The island expeditions of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth are not liked by all players. To provide a few more incentives for Twinks, a hotfix has now brought improvements.
What will be changed? With a hotfix, Blizzard aims to significantly increase the XP rewards at the end of the normal island expeditions. This will make visiting the islands a worthwhile endeavor to gather some experience points and quickly level up to level 120.
Due to the short duration of 10-15 minutes, an island expedition is also suitable when one has very little time and still wants to feel some progress.
No reputation bonuses: As long as your character has not yet reached level 120, it cannot work toward the weekly cap of 40,000 Azerite. Therefore, it cannot gain 2,500 artifact power and 1,500 reputation with the Warbound or the 7th Legion. This is only possible at max level.
But actually, fun is the biggest reward on the expeditions.
Perfect for collectors: This will be especially rewarding for players who have many Twinks and want to collect toys and transmog gear at the same time. This way, they can combine leveling Twinks and farming for the numerous rewards. Just recently, Blizzard drastically increased the drop chance for rewards.
The hotfix has already been active in America since last night. It should be active here today (09/19/2018), but at the latest by tomorrow.
