After the Alliance crashes a WoW wedding in neutral territory, the Horde retaliates and simply moves the party into enemy land.
Horde takes revenge after failed wedding
Weddings in MMORPGs are not uncommon, especially in role-playing scenarios. However, what has just happened on the English World of Warcraft realm Emerald Dream is not something you see every day.
Initially, some players of the Horde just wanted to hold a wedding, and the desired location was the Chapel of Hope in the Eastern Plaguelands. Unfortunately, some Alliance members also learned about this plan and took it upon themselves to ruin the joyful event – some guilds on the server are known for crashing RP events. However, the Horde of Emerald Dream has a strong sense of unity and does not tolerate such things. Thus, it was decided to humiliate the Alliance a bit and relocate the wedding to right in the Cathedral of Stormwind.
Many dozens of players stormed the capital of the humans, disposed of the guards and pesky Alliance members, so that the two lovers (and guests) could hold their ceremony in peace. Although three of the larger Alliance guilds attempted again to crash the event, the Horde players stood their ground and quickly dealt with each individual troublemaker, even surrounding the Cathedral and ensuring that the Holy Light’s sanctuary was “painted” red for quite some time.
The result was a Cathedral with quite a few skeletons of the Alliance races, a humiliated human city, and a pretty happy virtual couple.
