The artifact knowledge for the Heart of Azeroth in World of Warcraft is increasing even further. This means a lot less farming in the coming weeks.
The artifact knowledge in World of Warcraft speeds up the rate at which players can level up their artifact, the Heart of Azeroth. It was thought that the provisional maximum had already been reached, but Blizzard spontaneously changed its plans. In the coming weeks, there will be even more artifact knowledge.
How much artifact knowledge is there? Blizzard announced that the artifact knowledge will increase for four more weeks. Each week (every Wednesday), the necessary amount of artifact power required for the next level will decrease by nearly 30%.

A practical example: Anyone who wants to bring their Heart of Azeroth from level 49 to 50 currently needs about 110,000 artifact power. Those who want to tackle the same in four weeks will only need about 39,000 artifact power.
What does this mean for the player? With the further increase in artifact knowledge, it will be easier for all players to unlock the last traits in their gear. Latecomers will find it a bit easier to level their Heart of Azeroth to a high level to prepare for corresponding endgame content.

No more farming in the future: For the time starting with the Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, Blizzard has announced that farming artifact power will be de-emphasized. This is mainly facilitated by the fact that Azerite gear for the upcoming raid tiers will have lower level requirements. Players should be able to unlock all Azerite bonuses from chest, shoulder, and head gear when they receive the corresponding item.
Also in Patch 8.2, the portal room will be revised again – as fans expressed criticism!
What do you think of this change? Is it good that artifact knowledge continues to increase? Or does it just devalue the effort you have invested in the game so far?
