A new record has been set in World of Warcraft. The first group has mastered Mythic +28 – and that within the time limit!
The current endgame of World of Warcraft essentially has no real objective – at least in terms of difficulty. Those who want and can, may expose themselves to increasingly higher “Mythic+” dungeons that are ever harder to conquer. Even though the greatest possible reward is already reached at “Mythic+15”, that is not enough for some players. They seek larger records and continue on. Now the crazy feat of “Mythic+28” has been accomplished – within the time limit.

Why is this so special? At the difficulty “Mythic+28”, the enemies already possess extremely increased values. They have 1092% more health points and deal correspondingly more damage. A single mistake can quickly lead to a player collapsing.
However, playing dungeons at this difficulty requires a few tricks and tips. For example, the fire mage skillfully specialized in frost at the beginning of the dungeon to defeat the first (very large) group. After that, he left the dungeon and switched to fire, which deals more damage in the subsequent fights.
In the end, the group only had 24 seconds left and only the tank was still standing. A close, but very well-deserved victory.
Why are records being broken now? A large part of this comes from the Corruption Vendor, which Blizzard implemented a few weeks ago. At MOTHER players can now specifically purchase Corruption effects. This allows players to gradually achieve their optimal corruption and squeeze even more performance out of their class.
Therefore, it is to be expected that in the coming weeks – especially with the right affixes – more records will fall. With increasing Corruption effects and an ever-enhanced cloak, the performance of the characters should improve significantly.
