Do you want all legendary effects in World of Warcraft Shadowlands? Then you will have to deal with PvP.
Legendary items are one of the important features of World of Warcraft Shadowlands. While players can only wear a single legendary item at the beginning of the expansion, many will quickly want to build a large collection to be prepared for all dangers. However, this also means that you will have to face content that you may not want to play – such as PvP battles.
What has been found? To craft legendary items in Shadowlands, players need several components. Some of these come from the Tower of Torghast, while others can be produced through crafting professions and sold to other players. The most important component, the legendary property, comes from different sources. And one of them will also be PvP. The items can then be purchased from the PvP vendor using a new honor currency.
These items are only available from the PvP vendor. According to the current status, there will be no other source for them.
Is it really that bad? That probably depends on your perspective. Anyone who really wants to have all legendary items during Shadowlands may be dissatisfied with this situation. However, the legendary effects obtained through PvP are mostly “utility,” meaning pure usefulness. They have little impact on direct damage or healing. It is very unlikely that the effects will ever be a “best in slot” for PvE players. Most of these effects will likely be particularly interesting for PvP players anyway.
What kind of legendary effects are we talking about? The legendary effects sold by the PvP vendor are in most cases also particularly useful in PvP. This includes the following effects, for example:
- Warriors can get more charges for their Heroic Leap.
- Death Knights can cast a second Death Grip within 3 seconds of the first.
- Hunters gain 25 Focus when one of their traps is triggered.
The effects for the other classes lie in a similar range; you can check them in detail at wowhead.
Anyone wanting to have all Legendary items should therefore be prepared to also play PvP. But that’s usually how it is in WoW. If you want it all, you have to be willing to engage with every type of content.
What do you think about it? Will you be going for the PvP recipes? Or are you going to steer clear of them and ignore these effects?
