Do you need a new excuse for being late in World of Warcraft ? Soon the game will provide it, as the new login screen along with music does just that.
You can always tell that the beta of a WoW expansion is nearing its end by the implementation of (almost) the last features. The new login screen along with new music, which will presumably accompany players for almost two years, has now appeared in the beta of Shadowlands.
This is the new login screen: In true classic WoW tradition, the new login screen of Shadowlands shows the portal to the namesake Shadowlands. It gapes in the sky above the Frost Throne, where the veil between Azeroth and the Shadowlands was torn apart. How this came to be can be seen in the cool intro cinematic of the next expansion. Although there is not much to see, you can still spot the peak of Torghast, protruding from the Shadowlands.
This is the new login music: Along with the new login screen, there is also a new soundtrack waiting for players starting from the pre-patch 9.0. The nearly 11-minute music piece mixes the well-known war drums with the more mystical sounds from Icecrown and newer tracks from the Shadowlands, such as Ardenweald or Torghast.
It’s better to listen to it directly because let’s be honest: With Shadowlands, you’d rather be playing than just listening to the music on the login screen. However, if you do start it, then at least it’s a valid excuse for being 11 minutes late to the raid in Shadowlands .
Nowadays, the login screen is usually just a small thing. Most players spend about 3 seconds on it after launching World of Warcraft through the Battle.net app. Only those who have to enter their password manually
What do you think about the new music and the login screen? Cool and fitting? Or did you prefer those from previous expansions?
In line with the cool music in Shadowlands, you will also fight with harps… or something similar.
