Night Elves in World of Warcraft can now have black eyes and a new skin color. We reveal how to unlock these changes.
The Patch 8.1 of World of Warcraft is live. In addition to all the many major contents of Tides of Vengeance, such as the upcoming raid Battle for Dazar’Alor and the Faction Assaults, there are also a few nice little things. One of them is the new customization options for Night Elves, which must be unlocked first.
What customizations are available? Night Elves can take on the visual appearance of the “Night Warrior” with Patch 8.1, a special form of Elune’s Wrath. This ensures that they have black eyes and a slightly altered skin color. However, gameplay-wise, there is no change to the characters.
How to unlock the Night Warrior customizations: Unlocking the new customizations is simple. After logging in, Alliance characters who have reached level 120 are to be found in Boralus. Tyrande’s owl flies by and has a quest for the players. They are then sent to Stormwind to listen to the War Council. After that, it continues seamlessly to Darkshore.
The quest chain is self-explanatory and each step leads directly to the next. Tyrande undergoes the transformation into the Night Warrior, which you can also see in this cutscene.
How to use the customizations: After completing the quest chain, you can visit a barber with your Night Elves. The new customizations are available there – you can dye your eyes black and choose a new skin color. Please don’t ask us how the barber manages that. It is certainly strictly secret Elven technology.
Will you use the “Night Warrior” customizations? Or is it too “edgy” for you, and will you remain a good Elf with silver or golden eyes?
