Update 07.10.2022: Today, on 07.10.2022, is a chance to secure the title. Starting at 19:00, you can watch the final of the MDI on the German Warcraft channel and earn the title while doing so.
Original story: In World of Warcraft, the major esports events around the MDI (“Mythic Dungeon International”) and the arena tournaments will take place in the coming weeks. But there is also something to be gained for all other players, namely a very special title.
What kind of title is it? The title is the “Fearless Spectator.” This title can only be earned during the esports events 2022 about World of Warcraft, specifically between July 8 and July 24.
How can you get the title? It works in a similar way to the Twitch Drops – only this time on YouTube. You need to watch the respective channels for a total of 2 hours during the tournaments. To make this work, you need to have linked your Battle.net account to your YouTube account.
By the way: You don’t have to watch the two hours in one go. You can split the time and also distribute it over several weekends. However, it’s probably easiest to just let the stream run in the background at the first opportunity.
Which channels do you need to watch? The title can probably be easiest obtained through the streams of the German Warcraft YouTube channel. But the English YouTube channel is also an option.
How do you link the two accounts? It’s relatively simple, just follow these steps:
- Log in to YouTube with your YouTube account.
- Go to settings and then “Linked Apps”.
- Next to Battle.net, choose “Link accounts”.
- Confirm the linkage in the upcoming windows.
If you have multiple Battle.net accounts, make sure you are logged in with the right one to unlock the title correctly.
Can you get the title again later? It’s rather unlikely. Usually, Blizzard gives different seasons different names and thus various titles. At the next tournament, there will probably be a different title if Blizzard repeats this kind of promotion.
This will definitely be the appropriate title for visiting the LFR raid or Goldshire on a role-playing realm…
