The prices for the best Azerite armor in World of Warcraft have been revealed. They cost multiples of what players can currently earn.
Also in Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, Azerite armor plays a major role again. After all, these items have the powerful Azerite traits that function almost like additional set bonuses or small talents.
With the upcoming update, the maximum item level of items will increase further, making new Azerite armor necessary for the heroes. This armor can be obtained from various sources, but the most reliable is purchasing from a vendor.
What does the new Azerite armor cost? In Season 3 (in Patch 8.2), players can also buy Azerite armor from the Astral beings, namely with Titan Residuum. The price increase is quite steep, as you can compare in these two tables.

Titan Residuum for disassembling: Players receive Titan Residuum when they disassemble unwanted Azerite armor in the Scrapper. Depending on the item level of the item, there is a smaller or larger amount. Also, a substantial amount of residuals is available in the weekly “Mythic+” chest.
By the way, Titan Residuum will remain with the new patch. Those who want can start farming now to have a small stock. However, reaching 200,000 Titan Residuum is currently impossible and will likely only be achievable with Patch 8.2.
Will the amount of Residuum received increase? It is still unclear whether players will receive more Titan Residuum in Patch 8.2 than before. That would only make sense, as otherwise it would be difficult to acquire the items. Furthermore, Blizzard significantly increased the amount of Titan Residuum received when transitioning from Season 1 to Season 2. Something similar is likely to happen with Patch 8.2.
Heart of Azeroth requires no upgrades: The positive aspect of the whole situation is that unlocking the new Azerite abilities no longer requires farming for the Heart of Azeroth. The requirements for unlocking remain at the same level as in Patch 8.1.5, so below level 50. The Heart of Azeroth only needs to be leveled for unlocking the new essences.
