With Patch 8.1 of World of Warcraft, players will be able to directly purchase Azerite armor. However, this will cost – we’ll tell you how much.
On December 12, 2018, the Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance for World of Warcraft will be released. Players will then have the opportunity to farm specific Azerite armor much more selectively and choose special items they want to wear. However, this requires payment with a new currency at a vendor. Depending on the desired item, a lot of farming will be needed to obtain the desired item.
What is the new resource? The new Titan Residuum is available from the weekly reward chest for completing “Mythic+” dungeons. Alternatively, you can earn it when Azerite armor is destroyed in the scrapper. The item level of the Azerite item determines how much Titan Residuum is granted.

Please keep in mind that you will not receive any Titan Residuum from equipment you obtained before Patch 8.1. Only “new” drops after the patch is applied will grant Titan Residuum.
What are the costs of Azerite items? The Titan Residuum can be exchanged for various items at Thaumaturg Vashreen in Boralus or Dazar’Alor. You can either buy a “Loot Box,” which contains a random Azerite item, or you can purchase a desired item of your choice. However, this will be correspondingly more expensive.

By the end of January, with the start of Season 2 and the opening of the raid “Battle of Dazar’Alor,” there will be additional items available at the vendor, specifically with item levels 400 and 415. The costs for these items are not yet definitively known.
No reset before Season 2: It is also important to know that there will be no “reset” of the Titan Residuum with the release of the raid. Those who have already saved up large amounts can directly invest these in a 400 or 415 item if the costs are relatively low.
