Soon, you will have an easier time accessing the disturbing visions of WoW. Additionally, there are significant buffs for 6 classes.
During Patch 8.3 Visions of N’Zoth, there was a lot of criticism of World of Warcraft. The feature of the disturbing visions is enjoyable for many players, but you can rarely access the visions. To be able to play them, completing a number of daily quests is necessary, which results in a long and ongoing grind. This is particularly annoying as it is also tied to upgrading the legendary cloak. Blizzard is planning a hotfix and wants to make several adjustments. These include not only improvements for the visions but also some strong class buffs.
Here are the class changes: A total of 6 classes receive solid buffs in specific specializations. Only the Druid is a healer, all other classes are damage dealers.
Druid
- Restoration
- Rejuvenation now costs 10% of base mana (previously 10.5%).
- Bloom now costs 17% of base mana (previously 21.6%).
- The healing of Serenity has been increased by 11%.
Hunter
- Marksmanship
- The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.
Monk
- Windwalker
- The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.
Mage
- Frost
- The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.
Shaman
- Enhancement
- The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.
Warlock
- Demonology
- The damage of all abilities has been increased by 5%.
This is how the visions become more accessible: To allow players to access disturbing visions more frequently and to make upgrading the cloak a bit easier, which is particularly relevant for latecomers and alt characters, the following adjustments are made:
- Manifested visions are now available in greater numbers from N’Zoth’s assaults and daily quests.
- The unique limit (5) of the vessels of disturbing visions will be lifted. You can now carry as many of them as you like.
- Up to 4 pages of “Fear and Flesh” can now be found per disturbing vision. This is relevant for the legendary cloak of rank 7-11.
- To receive more than two pages, you must also complete more than two bonus areas.

When will the changes go live? All the adjustments mentioned above should be activated with a hotfix during the next weekly server maintenance. This will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

What exactly is Blizzard aiming for with this? With the buffs, Blizzard wants to assist the classes that have been performing a bit too poorly. Apparently, they have looked at the damage numbers in Ny’alotha and now aim to balance out small inconsistencies. Additionally, it should become easier to upgrade the legendary cloak by providing more quest rewards per run in a disturbing vision. As these visions are also more frequently accessible, completing daily quests and defeating rare mobs will soon become even more rewarding.
What do you think of the changes? Good and sensible innovations? Or annoying and unnecessary?
