This morning, the latest hotfix for World of Warcraft went live and addresses some issues and player complaints.
PvP Changes
All damage caused in PvP is being reduced by 10% across the board. This is quite a straightforward buff for all healers, who now have significantly more reaction time to keep their allies alive. The nerf was necessary because more damage was dealt in general due to the content and changes to the talents system in patch 6.1, which they are now trying to compensate for.
Hunters are also getting hit. Their pets dealt 50% additional damage through the “Cornered” skill while in a low health state, which has now been weakened to 20% to discourage hunters from keeping their companions at a permanently low HP level.
More Legendary Items for Twinks
If you have already completed some steps of the legendary questline on your main character, you can rejoice: alternate characters on the same account will receive the required collectible items from Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry much faster. The “old” quest steps can therefore be completed in just a few weeks.
