WoW: Hotfix – Mage Tower Challenge for Protection Paladins nerfed!

For Paladins, it will be somewhat easier to obtain the special template for their artifact weapon. The latest hotfix for WoW significantly weakens some bosses.

At the Broken Shore of World of Warcraft, the Mage Tower is currently being completed every few days by the war supplies of the Legion judges. This allows players to undertake a particularly tough quest for 3 days, rewarding the completion with an exclusive skin for the artifact weapon.

Depending on specialization, there are different tasks, and especially tanks (Return of the Highlord) have had a very hard time in the past – Blizzard has adjusted and nerfed the “Return of the Highlord” challenge in WoW.

A new hotfix has been active on the American servers since yesterday (April 26, 2017), which simplifies things even further for Protection Paladins.

Here are all the changes of the hotfix from April 26, 2017:

Artifact Challenge

Protection Paladin

• Health points of Inquisitor Variss reduced by 15%.
• Health points of Highlord Kruul reduced by 20%.

Broken Shore

• Wicked Mother Bruva is now the only Wicked Mother in the “Garrison of the Fel”.

Creatures

• Many Storm Dragons should now have hitboxes that more closely match their size.

Items

• Unstable Terrorglobe is now a bit more stable and deals damage again.

Player versus Player

• PvP template values now grant the correct amount of stamina and are not influenced by the trait “Unity of the Legion Judges”.

Death Knight, Druid

• A bug was fixed where Frenzied Regeneration was healing more than intended.

Shaman

• Rinsing Water is no longer amplified by modifiers like Spirit Guardian.
• The Wind Fury Totem now has 5 health points.
• Only one Wind Fury Totem can be active per Shaman.

The hotfix should go live with a server restart tonight.
