The first fix for Patch 8.0 of World of Warcraft is here. The program includes changes to classes and many, many bug fixes.
Patch 8.0 of World of Warcraft has been active in WoW since yesterday (07/18/2018) and should prepare players for the expansion Battle for Azeroth. However, the update didn’t run smoothly, as numerous bugs have crept in. Now Blizzard has at least rolled out the first hotfix to address the biggest issues. We reveal what the developers have fixed.

Classes

Demon Hunter
- Chaos Brand now has infinite duration outside of PvP.
Druid
Restoration
- Tranquility can now correctly heal critically.
Hunter
Marksman
- Explosive Shot now disappears when it collides with an object or reaches maximum range, then refunds part of the focus cost and cooldown.
Monk
- Mystical Touch now has infinite duration outside of PvP.

Mage
Arcane
- Arcane Mastery now grants the talent Amplification.
- When Arcane Missiles activate Clearcasting, the subsequent Arcane Missiles will correctly have a reduced cast time and benefit from Flowing Energy.
Priest
Shadow
- Psychic Horror is now correctly usable starting at level 74.
Shaman
Restoration
- Spirit of the Seer now grants the talent Echo of the Elements.
Dungeons and Raids

The Tomb of Sargeras
The Vigilant Maiden
- Wrath of the Creator no longer deals excessive damage.
The Icecrown Citadel
- Lady Deathwhisper has the correct amount of mana again.
Shadowfang Keep
- Alzzin the Wildshaper heals for the correct amount again.
The Arcatraz
- A bug has been fixed where Deathbringer the Eredar dealt too much damage.
NPCs
- Centaurs in Desolace no longer deal so much damage.
- Druids can again interact with Skycaller Faeb.

Player versus Player
- Rewards in the form of honor and conquest in epic battlegrounds have been increased.
- The amount of damage players deal to NPCs in Alterac Valley and the Isle of Conquest has been corrected.
Professions
- The display for ranks of individual recipes has been corrected.
Quests
- Numerous quests can now be completed correctly again, including: An Urgent Matter, Failed, A Bit of Comfort, Keep an Eye on It and A Cure for Death.

World
- “Legion Assault” events now scale correctly with level 98 players.
