Hardly patched, already fixed. Update 7.1.5 for World of Warcraft has already caused some issues that needed to be resolved.
The latest patch for World of Warcraft is live and it didn’t take long for the first hotfix for update 7.1.5 to be released. This fixes some bugs with quests, as there were a few missions that could not be completed because the corresponding NPCs were no longer showing up.
The most important change concerns PvP. Blizzard had allowed that artifact weapon talents are now active beyond level 34 – up to level 54, resulting in a power difference of up to 10%. At the last moment, however, it was decided to revert this change, so that in PvP only artifact levels up to the 34th talent are active. With the start of the 3rd PvP season, Blizzard will reconsider this decision. However, they want to give players some lead time to gather artifact power and better prepare for it.
German Patch Notes – no trace in sight
Most German fans are still waiting for Blizzard to finally release the complete patch notes for patch 7.1.5. Although these exist in English, they contained some errors and did not meet Blizzard’s usual standard – numerous spelling and punctuation mistakes made the patch notes more of an archaeological investigation.
Blizzard has apologized and confirmed that they are working on an “improved version”; however, this has not yet been released – let alone a German version.
As soon as Blizzard publishes a complete version of the German patch notes, we will provide it.
