Players had to wait nearly ten weeks to finally see the final boss of the Hellfire Citadel. As has become customary, Blizzard released the latest raid of World of Warcraft only in phases. While raiders in normal, heroic, and mythic modes have been able to go ahead for quite a while, now the LFR players follow suit. This staggering of content was introduced by the developers to give progress guilds enough time to experiment a bit in the instances before they simply defeat the bosses in “Easy Mode.” Since yesterday, the last wing “The Black Gate” is accessible, thereby completing the 13 bosses of the final WoD instance.
Many players are now also able to experience the closing video of the addon in the game – as this is logically only played after defeating the final boss. Those who want to get an impression of the defiler of the burning legion can now see it for themselves.
