After 11 days, the race for the ‘World First Kill’ in World of Warcraft Dragonflight is over. Echo takes the victory in this exciting race.
In World of Warcraft Dragonflight, the ‘World First Kill’ of ‘Raszageth the Storm Eater’ has occurred. The guild Echo succeeded in sending the final boss from the Vault of the Incarnations to the digital afterlife on mythic difficulty. This means the race is over just before Christmas – relieving much pressure from the players.

Huge improvement in a short time: It’s interesting how drastically Echo has improved in the last hours. Less than a day ago, it seemed almost impossible to defeat Raszageth without significantly better gear. The last phase is an intense race against time, and in the first attempts, the boss still had a staggering 20% of its health when the full raid was wiped out.
The race took longer than expected: The guilds actually expected that the race would be decided in 3 or 4 days before the start of the raid. The first raid of an expansion is usually comparatively easy. Furthermore, Blizzard didn’t want the raid players to struggle through the holidays when they should be spending quality time with family and friends. With 11 days, the race lasted much longer than expected.
Echo needed a whopping 265 attempts to ultimately defeat Raszageth.
But at least: Echo is back home just in time for Christmas and can now enjoy the holidays. At least a little, because in the coming weeks and months, many millions of gold will surely need to be earned and distributed, as such a World First race consumes gigantic sums.
