Currently, Blizzard is releasing a whole lot of things that are available for purchase in the shop. After the anniversary package was revealed yesterday, which also features a fancy mount, the next exclusive shop mount for World of Warcraft is now waiting.
What kind of mount is this? The golden lucky yak Yun has a distinct pandaren flair and is particularly suited for monks or pandaren – or pandaren monks.
You will receive the mount as a free bonus if you now subscribe for 6 months in World of Warcraft. Those who already have a 6-month subscription should automatically receive the lucky yak in the coming days.
Note that it is actually a subscription. Those who simply have 6 months of game time – for example, through the WoW token – will not receive the mount this way.
Can the mount fly as well? Yes. The mount’s ability adapts to the character’s skill. You can use it both as a ground mount for twinks or as a flying mount at max level – even if unlocking flying in Shadowlands might take a while.
Can you buy the mount separately? Yes. If you don’t want to subscribe for 6 months, you can also purchase the mount separately, which costs 25 €. It is also possible to gift the mount to friends. Perhaps a nice gift for all the yak lovers out there who could use a bit more luck.
