WoW Guide: How to defeat the last two bosses in Ny'alotha

The last two bosses of the new WoW raid Ny’alotha are now available. We’ll show you how you can easily defeat them in LFR.

Since today’s maintenance (03.11.2020), the last wing of the “Ny’alotha, the Waking City” raid in World of Warcraft is accessible. Now all players can tackle the last two bosses in LFR and thus defeat N’Zoth and complete the questline surrounding the Black Empire.

So you aren’t “the one idiot” in the raids who doesn’t know the mechanics of the boss fight, we will briefly explain the most important points.

How to defeat “Carapace of N’Zoth” and “N’Zoth the Corruptor”

The last two bosses follow “Blow for Blow”. There are only 2, making “The Dreamweaver” the shortest wing of Ny’alotha.

How to defeat the Carapace of N’Zoth: The penultimate fight is against the shell of N’Zoth and represents the last line of defense before the Old God.

If you are targeted by “Eruption of Madness” or “Eruption of Mania”, move away from all other players (at least 15 meters), otherwise they will take high damage and lose mental health.
If a creature is affected by “Adaptive Membrane”, you must quickly deal high damage to destroy the membrane.
If your mental health is running low, use Ashjra’kamas to be fully healed by Furorion – including your mental health.
Tanks should taunt the boss like usual now and then to avoid stacking too many “Black Scar” debuffs.

How to defeat N’Zoth the Corruptor: The final fight is against the Old God himself. Here he uses all his abilities to bring the players’ mental health to 0 and corrupt them for his purposes.

Avoid all boss effects that drain your mental health. If a player’s mental health drops to 0, they will be taken over – kill them.
Use the Heart of Azeroth (“Azeroth’s Radiance”) in case of emergency to restore mental health.
Kill “Unprotected Synapses” in N’Zoth’s mental realm until Psychus has 4-5 stacks, then focus on Psychus. Leave the mental realm before the spell “Collapsing Mental Realm” finishes, or you’ll die immediately.
Maintain a distance of at least 5 meters from your teammates.
Always kill the Mind Harvester in the last phase. The sooner they die, the better your chances of victory.

After the fight, you can finally complete the campaign surrounding the Black Empire. Additionally, you will be rewarded with the controversial end cinematic that shows the fate of N’Zoth.
