Having been betrayed by the whole group in WoW, this tank simply carried on alone. Mythic+18 solo – even in the Underrot.
In World of Warcraft, it occasionally happens that one gets a bit upset about a player or two. Maybe someone is not very experienced or makes a series of “silly” mistakes that are particularly annoying. Those who completely lose their patience might even leave their group prematurely. However, a tank has shown that he has the iron will to push through alone.
What happened? In the WoW subreddit, the player TheSoberCannibal shared a picture of his Demon Hunter, where he defeated the final boss of the Underrot on the difficulty “Mythic+18” solo. The final fight lasted a whopping 14 minutes and 23 seconds, but could be completed successfully.
This was possible due to the strong self-healing of the Demon Hunter. This has already ensured in other places that this class can complete Mythic+20 solo. Vruumsc claims to have values of nearly 42% versatility without buffs, which drastically reduces the damage he takes.
Why did the group leave? The other players apparently were not satisfied with Vruumsc’s performance. He admits in the comments that his performance in the dungeon was relatively disappointing and that he failed as a tank. The fact that not everything went according to plan can be seen in the relatively high number of deaths in the dungeon. The group members died a total of 38 times in the Underrot and apparently lost their patience.
Why didn’t he look for new teammates? In a “Mythic+” dungeon, it is not possible to invite new players afterwards. Only the 5 original players who started the dungeon can enter it. Therefore, if even one player decides to leave the group early, it cannot be balanced out anymore. This is why people generally tackle these dungeons with others they at least trust enough to push through to the end.
Somewhat bitter, however, is that the disappeared teammates still get credited for their weekly reward for the dungeon, even though they were not present at the time of the final boss.
Demon Hunters are a lot of fun anyway. When Cortyn from MeinMMO doesn’t want to “think,” he also grabs the Demon Hunter…
