World of Warcraft: Legion brings a little love for the Gnomes. Soon they will also be able to roam as Hunters in Azeroth.
… and a little chicken on top!
The rumor that has been circulating on Twitter for a few days (and basically was first spread by the developers) has now been confirmed. Gnomes will be the only race in World of Warcraft: Legion to receive a new class combination.
The little sprouts of Gnomeregan will be able to roam as Hunters through the vastness of Azeroth with the release of Patch 7.0, proving that the smallest creatures are not necessarily at the bottom of the food chain.
Because Gnomes are incredibly tech-savvy and tinker with everything that doesn’t explode within 3 seconds, all Hunters will be given a new type of Pets. In the future, special mechanical companions can be tamed! If you are now smiling at the thought of mechanical squirrels and exploding sheep, you are not far from wrong.
A mechanical rabbit will wait as a starter companion, and many new robot pets have been spread across the world. In the instance Gnomeregan, for example, there will be a Strider-Mech that requires solving certain puzzles before you can ultimately tame it.
But how exactly do you tame mechanical companions? That is a good question, almost always certain tasks must be fulfilled for that, what those are will likely be revealed in the further course of the Beta.
