Collecting fame is faster than ever in World of Warcraft. If you want to catch up on your twinks, you should take advantage of this week.
The patch 9.1.5 in World of Warcraft is finally live and has brought numerous improvements. Players can easily switch their covenants and collecting reputation on twinks is now much easier. However, this week there is an even more lucrative method you should utilize. We’ll tell you everything about the current “fame turbo”.
What’s happening in WoW right now? The new patch 9.1.5 is live and has loosened many restrictions in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Covenants can now be switched at will, while collecting fame has become easier. Especially twinks benefit from strong bonuses if at least one character has already reached fame level 80.
How can you quickly increase fame? There are basically two methods. If you have already reached fame level 80 with any character of any covenant, you should visit Oribos. Right next to the flight master is the NPC Au’Dara who sells a number of interesting items. For us, the relevant item is the “Broker Mark of Distinction” for 500 gold pieces. This is only purchasable if the character has reached fame level 80.
The Broker Mark of Distinction allows you to level up to fame level 40 with another (or the same) character with a single click! This not only makes the entire covenant campaign available, but also unlocks all soulbinds.
This is particularly worthwhile if you want to level a new twink or try out another covenant.
PvP offers a lot of fame this week
If you are already level 60 and can no longer complete quests to earn fame, you should try “pseudo-PvP”. This week the brawl is again “Brawl: Comp Stomp”. Here, the Arathi Basin is played – but against bots. It’s so simple that your faction usually captures all control points within 3 minutes and wins after 5 minutes. Each victory has a high chance of granting a fame level, allowing you to quickly raise your fame to around 65.
However, keep in mind that fame is not guaranteed with a victory – but the chance is quite high.
You can start the brawl mode through the group finder, you’ll find it directly in the PvP sign-ups. Normally, the waiting time for this mode is extremely short, as many players are currently raising their fame.
On top of that, “Brawl: Comp Stomp” is a good way to gather some honor, marks of honor (for transmog), and reputation with the Arathi faction, allowing you to also pick up the last cosmetics or achievements.
The last few fame levels must, as usual, be completed through the weekly quests and the Korthia campaign. Just make sure to accept your calling quests in the covenant sanctum, collect 1,000 anima, and maybe rescue 20 souls for this week. Whether the respective quest grants fame, you can already see in advance by checking the rewards of the quest.
What to do at level 50? If you are not yet level 60, you can still gather a lot of fame. Starting at level 50, you can already use the Broker Mark of Distinction. After that, you should just complete quests or run dungeons – both grant fairly solid fame levels. By the time you reach level 60, your fame should also be around 60 – all without much effort.
Have you already brought your twinks to fame level 80?
