If the wrong characters are killed in World of Warcraft, reinforcements quickly arrive. This leads to amusing acts of revenge.
In World of Warcraft, wild PvP skirmishes occasionally break out in the open world – at least when you’re wandering around on a PvP server. Of course, you were aware of this when creating your character and now have to live with the fact that at one corner or another, a ganker is waiting to beat your character back into the virtual grave over and over again.
It’s really annoying when you just want to quietly quest or at least turn in a weekly mission. Currently, there’s a time-walking event happening in WoW where players need to turn in a quest on the Timeless Isle to receive a large amount of Timeless Coins.
Guild Impunity on a Revenge Mission
However, when your faction is outnumbered, the quest giver is often besieged and turning in the mission can stretch on for hours. One of these victims was the guild leader of the Swiss guild Impunity – and that became quite annoying for him after a while.
As is proper for a comradeship community, a large part of his guild moves in and prepares to clear the way for their leader.
With a mass stealth, the group sneaks up… and just see for yourselves:
Not 10 seconds later, quite a few Alliance players are lying in the dust and the Horde has (very honorably, of course) secured their territory. The best part is probably the amused giggle of the guild leader (about second 24), who clearly shows his satisfaction over his revenge.
Sometimes it can be so nice to simply be able to turn in a quest.
Have you had such nice community experiences with your guild in WoW? Or are you roaming as a “Lone Wolf” and just weathering such problems?
