As always, there are numerous small secret changes in a WoW patch that did not appear in the patch notes. We will reveal what has changed.
Patch 8.2.5 has been live for a few days and many players have already experienced the final chapter of the war campaign. However, besides the epic battle between Saurfang and Sylvanas, there are also plenty of smaller changes that do not appear in the patch notes. This is not necessarily malice from Blizzard, but often the changes are just minor, or they are bug fixes for exploits or certain player behaviors that one does not want to discuss much.

The undocumented patch notes from WoW update 8.2.5
We will tell you which “secret” changes slipped into patch 8.2.5.
- The starting areas (Elwynn, Tirisfal, etc.) now scale up to level 60 instead of only level 20.
- Worgen have each received two new faces for male and female characters.
- Druids have had the sound effects for many abilities changed or replaced.
- The smelting oven in the Mythic Blackrock Foundry can now be defeated with just 3 bombs, making it much easier to master solo.
- The Distillate of Ten Lands now has a duration in the buff bar.
- Characters in the dressing room are now better lit and have more zoom levels.
- Characters now have a logo in the character selection screen indicating whether they belong to the Alliance or the Horde.
- Numerous craftable items from Mechagon now have changed costs.
- Penance no longer grants insanity outside of combat for shadow priests.
- The Firelands now use a “flexible” raid size. The amount of loot gained depends on the number of players.
- Many addons that automatically announced messages in global chats (such as the presence of rare mobs) no longer work, as the functionality has been disabled.
Surely there are some further changes, but these are the ones that have become known so far.
