The Russian WoW professional guild Exorsus has switched to the Alliance. Apparently, they see a great advantage in Dwarves for the first raid.
Although there is still no official release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands after the delay, professional guilds are already preparing for the first raid. After all, there will also be a major World First race at Castle Nathria. To secure an advantage, the Russian guild Exorsus has now made a faction change.
What happened? The Russian professional guild Exorsus can no longer be found among the Horde. For several hours now, it can be seen in the Arsenal that the guild has completely switched to the Alliance.
Why did they do that? If you take a look at Exorsus now, you will find that most characters have become Dwarves. The obvious reason is the racial bonus “Stoneform.” When activated, it ends all poison, disease, curse, magic, and bleed effects, and reduces physical damage taken by 10% for 8 seconds.
This is particularly useful since there are a number of bleed effects in Castle Nathria that can stack multiple times and make certain boss fights more difficult. In addition to Stoneform, the Vial of Serenity from the Kyrian Covenant can also help. This is one of the stronger covenant bonuses.
Exorsus apparently hopes for an advantage from this and a chance to stay a bit ahead in the race for “World First.” Whether other large guilds like Limit will follow suit remains uncertain.
Professional guilds are traditionally more rooted in the Horde. The Horde had stronger racial bonuses for years, and a large part of the fans who support their guilds also play Horde.
Whether other guilds will follow suit or believe that other bonuses will be more useful remains to be seen.
After a major scandal, Method also wants to be back in Shadowlands.
