The PTR of World of Warcraft for Patch 6.2 has been online for a few days now, and players could already sign up for the new raid “Hellfire Citadel.” Instead of thoroughly testing the bosses, it was only allowed to take a look at the environment and see the layout of the citadel.
Our colleagues from blizzardwatch.com have put together a small gallery of the most beautiful images. According to the author, the images do not do justice to the size – compared to this, the last raids were “tiny.”
Visually, the citadel strongly resembles the Black Temple from “The Burning Crusade.” Not surprisingly, both areas are infused with fel magic and are overflowing with demons of the Burning Legion. The bosses include a resurrected Mannoroth, a really ugly Gorefiend, and Archimonde himself. You should best get an impression of the images yourself.
