Osidion in World of Warcraft: The War Within hides a little bit. However, you can buy really cool rewards from him.
In WoW: The War Within, you will be flooded with a lot of items, all of which have some benefit or another. Sometimes the benefit can be derived from the description – but that doesn’t help if you can’t find the corresponding vendor. We will tell you where to find Osidion and what he has to offer you.
Who is Osidion? Osidion is an earthen dwarf that you can encounter in the capital city of Dornogal. He is located in the district “The Forge Grounds”, but quite far in the east, at the coordinates 57 / 61. You can view the exact position on this map:
What does Osidion want? Even in The War Within, there are a whole series of reputation factions (also called “Fame”). By questing through the areas and completing world quests, you will already rank up in the fame levels and unlock different rewards. One that you occasionally receive from all factions is the “Earth-Encrusted Gem”.
Osidion wants these precious stones from you.
What does Osidion sell? Osidion only offers cosmetic transmog sets. The sets are a bit simpler and correspond largely to what NPCs in the game world would wear. There isn’t much sparkle, and the sets are more suitable for a simpler style. This is particularly attractive for RP fans.
All the sets have the same costs. You only need a single gem for each set, so you can buy a complete ensemble with each gem. However, to get rid of the gems, a regular visit to Osidion is worthwhile. Since the gems are not stackable, you will quickly have several in your pockets after just a few hours, which will slowly but surely clog your inventory.
If you have exhausted all the gems, that is not a problem. After all the gems have been consumed, Osidion wants crystals from you instead, which you can obtain in virtually every endgame activity of The War Within. The price is quite high per set, but since you can accumulate the crystals across multiple characters, you are consistently working towards the new goal.
