The World of Warcraft has turned one year older again. This time, there are special world bosses and a cool new pair of glasses!
In Azeroth, there is a special event again, as Blizzard’s MMORPG World of Warcraft has turned one year older once more. However, instead of just sending a small item in the game, there are several special challenges that the heroes can face. We provide you with a quick overview.
From November 16, 2017, to the early morning of November 30, 2017, World of Warcraft officially celebrates its 13th birthday.
As in the previous year, during this time, there will be a handful of items available for Timeworn Badges. The items from last year (like the corgi pet, an “Inflatable Thunderfury Dummy” or the “Edwin VanCleef Costume”) will be complemented this year by the Bronze-tinted Sunglasses (see title image), which no collector should miss.
A Celebration for Transmog Collectors thanks to “new old” World Bosses
New in 2017 with the 13th WoW Anniversary is a quest that you can take from Historian Llore in Stormwind (coordinates: 85, 25) or Historian Ju’pa in Orgrimmar (coordinates: 35, 75). The quest “The Originals” requires players to defeat three world bosses that were present in the classic World of Warcraft.
You heard that right: For the duration of the event, the ancient world bosses are available again!
- Lord Kazzak in the Blasted Lands
- Azuregos in Azshara
- The Nightmare Dragons in Feralas, Duskwood, Hinterlands, and Ashenvale
These bosses drop equipment with an item level of 900 and also leave behind some special items that are no longer available otherwise. If you want to spruce up your wardrobe, you should definitely visit all these bosses.
The completion of the quest is rewarded with some Timeworn Badges, which can also be exchanged for the aforementioned rewards.
