Ve’nari is quite unpopular among the players of World of Warcraft. However, she will soon offer some really cool rewards – if you farm more reputation.
Reputation farming is one of those activities in World of Warcraft that divides opinions. Some people enjoy accumulating reputation to claim Paragon rewards and gold, while other players simply cannot get along with the repetitive completion of world quests. The probably most unpopular faction, Ve’nari, will soon receive new rewards. She will get her own Paragon chests.
What kind of items are these? Generally, the rewards are interesting for collectors of mounts and pets. They are:
Rook – A battle pet that is essentially a mini version of a maw-bound warrior. It has the cool ability “Dark Fate”, which deals damage to humanoids equal to the last hit taken, making it interesting for many pet battles.
Soulbound Gloomcharger’s Reins – A new mount that basically consists only of armor and Stygia. Visually, you might already know the mount, as it was previously a rare enemy in Torghast.
How do you get the rewards? To receive the two rewards, you need to farm even more reputation with Ve’nari after the release of Patch 9.1. Once you have reached maximum reputation, you can collect another 10,000 reputation points to receive a Paragon reward box. This typically contains a chunk of gold and – with a bit of luck – one or more of the special rewards.
There is no guarantee that you will get the items on your first attempt – as with all Paragon rewards.
Why is Ve’nari so unpopular? Farming reputation with Ve’nari is considered particularly annoying, as this can only be done in the maw. Here, – so far – most mounts are forbidden and you can only complete a certain amount of activities per day before the Jailer’s eye prevents you from playing further in the maw. While Patch 9.1 will ease some of these restrictions, whether this will make gameplay in the maw more enjoyable remains to be seen.
When will this happen? Only with the release of Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination. The patch does not have a release date yet. Current estimates suggest that no one should expect a release of the patch before mid or late June. So you still have plenty of time to max out your reputation with Ve’nari by then. Then you could work on the Paragon rewards right after the release.
