Another remix event in World of Warcraft could be on the horizon. This time, the clues point to ‘Legion Remix’.
As part of the Warcraft Direct, Blizzard has outlined its plans for World of Warcraft and promises that there will be at least 6 patches next year. But that doesn’t seem to be all. Because a clue on the timeline gives a clear indication that Blizzard wants to repeat the success of ‘Mists of Pandaria Remix’ once again – this time with the Legion expansion.
A highlight will be player housing in WoW:
A color could be the crucial hint
What has been discovered? YouTuber and analyst Bellular has taken a close look at the roadmap for World of Warcraft for 2025. While most of the content has already been vaguely outlined, there are some hints that a little more is coming.
The clearest hint is the timeline itself. If you take a look at it, you can see how the yellow-orange tone at ‘Autumn’ gradually transitions into a green color – demon green, to be precise.
This is the color that is fundamentally associated with the Legion. Since the next expansion ‘Midnight’ has more of a dark blue-purple hue, the green tone seems out of place.
For Bellular and many others, it is clear: This is a clue that we will see some months of ‘Legion Remix’ in Winter 2025.
How likely is this? To be honest: Quite likely, even though the hints so far are rather thin. Because Mists of Pandaria Remix
is undoubtedly considered a huge success for the WoW team. Since ‘Legion’ enjoys a similarly good reputation among players as Mists of Pandaria
, it is only a matter of time before Legion Remix
becomes a reality.
The expansion not only offers a wealth of content to enjoy, but naturally entices with plenty of transmog rewards – whether it be the artifact weapons or the tier sets from that time, which many consider to be some of the best visually. It should be relatively easy to offer new ‘recolor’ variants here – for both gear and mounts.
How exactly Blizzard plans to add remix mechanics to Legion, meaning the numerous effects that also provided chaotic fun in MoP Remix, remains to be seen.
Would you like to return to the Broken Isles once again and relive the stories surrounding the artifact weapons, the Legion’s invasions, and ultimately the battle on Argus? What rewards would you wish for, and how should it be designed? First, Patch 1.11 is on the way in WoW – heading to Undermine.
