The alpha test of Battle for Azeroth has finally begun. The first players have already been invited and can enter the first zones of the latest addon of World of Warcraft. This is accompanied by additional information from data mining, as the crafty professionals dissect the game files in detail.
New information about the allied race of the Dark Iron Dwarves has now been revealed. It has become known which classes the Dark Iron Dwarves can play.
The classes of the Dark Iron Dwarves
Dark Iron Dwarves will have the option to choose the following classes in Battle for Azeroth:
- Death Knight
- Hunter
- Mage
- Monk
- Rogue
- Warlock
- Warrior
- Paladin
- Shaman
It is strange that the Priest is not listed here, as Moira uses Priest abilities among others. The Death Knight is also odd, as it was said that allied races could not become Death Knights.

The Dark Iron Dwarves joined the Alliance in the aftermath of the Cataclysm and have since been part of the “Council of Three Hammers,” which rules over Ironforge. For a long time, the Dark Iron Dwarves were enemies living in Blackrock Mountain and had sworn allegiance to the elemental lord Ragnaros after they dug too deep.
