Players often report negative experiences in the mythic keystone dungeons of World of Warcraft. However, the good-vibes story of a WoW player shows that it can also be very different.
What happened to the dungeon group? WoW player xehparr reports on Reddit that he recently had a great time with a new group that rocked the mythic keystone dungeons together. That alone would be a nice story, as community platforms too often feature reports full of frustration and negative examples.
Perhaps it is also because the good-vibe story of xehparr is not yet finished at this point. His post also shows the screenshot of a gift that the healer of the group sent to some of their companions after the successful runs.
Another heartwarming story from the World of Warcraft community:
What kind of gift is it? The gift is the paid shop mount Gold-trimmed Trader Brutosaur, which costs a whopping 78 euros per purchase and comes with two helpful NPCs that provide access to the mailbox and the auction house.
The luxury mount was introduced for the 20th anniversary in October 2024. Although the offer was originally supposed to last only until January 6, 2025, one can still add the Trader Brutosaur to the cart even now (on January 7, 2025, 10:50 AM).
Since xehparr writes that the tank of the group should also have received the mount, the healer has spent at least 156 euros on her thank-you gift. This wonderful gesture is accompanied by the following text:
“Thank you for being a great teammate and a wonderful gaming partner 🙂 Also Merry Christmas, happy birthday, and whatever else there is. Have fun!”
“What a treasure”
How does the community react? The community celebrates the beautiful experience of the WoW player with almost 6,000 upvotes and over 170 comments.
- -Undercover-Nerd writes on Reddit: “Your healer is a saint, seriously. Not many people would go out of their way to sweeten someone’s day like that.”
- lumberingox raves on Reddit: “I am incredibly envious, not because of the mount, but because of the connections you’ve made in the game. I think that’s why I don’t love WoW anymore – just not enough interaction or friendships to keep me.”
- bugsy42 has unfortunately had different experiences (via Reddit): “Damn, congratulations. I should start being more social in this game, good grief. Every time I random queue, I just get insults. :D”
- DomDangerous can’t believe it (via Reddit): “She’s already playing the most exhausting role, and then she’s also the giver? Damn, what a treasure.”
The Gold-trimmed Trader Brutosaur not only brings good vibes but also occasional moments of despair. That is when the heavily paid NPCs suddenly disappear. Fortunately, the problem can be quickly solved: 80 euro mount loses NPCs for auction house and mail, buyer is desperate.
