Phase 2 of the pre-patch for WoW Dragonflight is here. In the German patch notes, we show you what has changed.
What happens in Phase 2? With big steps, we move towards the release of the new add-on Dragonflight in World of Warcraft. Piece by piece, some content will already come into the game before the release, which you can try out. The new talent trees have been unlocked for a few days now.
Phase 2 has been running since November 16 and brings the “Callers of the Dracthyr”, the first combination of race and class. Additionally, the new zone “The Forbidden Island”, a new event, changes to classes, achievements, PvP, quests, and more.

Start of pre-patch Phase 2 – When does it start?
Then it starts: On Wednesday, November 16, maintenance work is scheduled from 03:00 to 11:00. In the B-Net client, Blizzard states, “We will perform scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, November 16, between 03:00 (CET) and 11:00 (CET). During this time, the game will not be available. CET stands for Central European Time, which also corresponds to German time.
Contents of Phase 2 – What’s inside?
In the following overview, we will discuss the biggest content changes. Afterwards, we will show you the patch notes in German with all updates.
New class “The Caller” & new race “Dracthyr”
You need to know: The new class and the new race are only available in combination. If you want to play a Caller, you must choose the race of the Dracthyr.
We have already played the Caller in a test phase. In the video, you can watch the gameplay with spells and movements:
In Phase 2 of the pre-patch for Dragonflight, this combination will be available for the first time for you, and you can create it after the maintenance work.
New zone “The Forbidden Island”
How do you get there? As a Caller of the Dracthyr, you start on the Forbidden Island. There should be many secrets from the past waiting for you. The black dragonflight used the island as a training ground in the past. Today, you can still see all the devastation.

New event: Urstürme
What is known? During the event, new quests and world events are available to you. If you want, you can participate. You will fend off the attacks of the primalists. The event serves to prepare for the launch of WoW Dragonflight.
New dungeon: Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr
What is known? Anyone who has been in World of Warcraft for a long time already knows the name “Uldaman”. Queen Alexstrasza sends you into the instance to retrieve the memories of Tyr. With this, you have the great responsibility to secure the future of the dragons.
