Blizzard has not only recently struggled with the accusation of regularly engaging in “content recycling” in “World of Warcraft“. Especially during Cataclysm, many existing areas were only slightly modified, so at least the graphic designers saved a lot of work. When it was said at the time that the new expansion would lead to Draenor, the outcry was again great: Did players expect only a freshly painted version of the shattered world?
Fortunately, that did not turn out to be the case. The two worlds are still inseparably connected. The Imgur user “Gamerlen” has now created a rather nice gallery where you can clearly see the differences and similarities between the two worlds. How much love for detail Blizzard has once again put into the world is sometimes evident even just from reading the quest texts, which already gave small hints in the shattered world about what you can now see in Draenor.
