An adjustment for your dragon in World of Warcraft is only available for a few days. Collectors should act now before the chance is gone.
In World of Warcraft, recurring in-game events take place at regular intervals. Many of them are several years old, and the Lunar Festival is one of them. However, due to updates in the last patches, there are some new rewards for almost all events. If you want to secure them, you should put in some effort – because the cosmetic adjustment for your dragon will soon disappear again.
What kind of event is this? The Lunar Festival is a recurring event in World of Warcraft, loosely based on Chinese New Year. In Azeroth, mainly night elves and druids celebrate the festival, telling various stories about the moon goddess Elune and commemorating the ancestors found all over the world.
You can earn most rewards by visiting the ancestors and receiving coins from them, which you can then exchange at the vendor. This includes some transmog rewards, as well as recipes for fireworks and more.
You will receive the new reward differently – you only need to pay gold.
What kind of adjustment is this? The adjustment “Winding Slitherdrake: Lunar Festival Armor” gives your slither drake a reddish-golden armor, reminiscent of Chinese dragons. This is only a partial adjustment, meaning just the armor of the dragon – all other aspects, such as color, claw shape, or jaw shape can be adjusted independently.
If you want the adjustment for your dragon, you will need to lay down a proud 50,000 gold. This should be affordable for long-time players, but newcomers might have to farm for a few hours to earn the gold.
You can find the “Lunar Festival Armor” at any vendor of the Lunar Festival, such as in Orgrimmar (Horde) or outside the gates of Stormwind (Alliance).
How much time do you have? The Lunar Festival lasts for 14 days. It starts today, February 3rd and is active until February 16th. By then, you have time to earn the new adjustment as well as all other rewards.
By the way, the coins of the Lunar Festival have a special feature as they do not expire after the event ends. If you still lack rewards, you can save the tokens until next year. With almost all other events, the currency disappears after the event ends.
