He has done it again. Just under 8 weeks after the release of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, Doubleagent has reached Level 120 in the craziest way.
There is probably no Pandaren who has attracted as much attention in recent years as Doubleagent from the server Mannoroth. The Pandaren player has now reached Level 120 – and has never left the starting area or chosen a faction.
Who is Doubleagent? Doubleagent is a Pandaren player in World of Warcraft who has been playing his character since Mists of Pandaria. Normally, Pandaren choose a faction between level 10 and 20 and join either the Horde or the Alliance. However, Doubleagent, as his name suggests, did not want to do that. He stubbornly stayed on the island and watched how far he could level up.
How does Doubleagent level up? The quests on the Pandaren island are limited and were relatively early completed. From around level 20, Doubleagent had to level up differently.
Doubleagent gains experience points for leveling up by gathering herbs and ores. Each time grants a small amount of experience points. However, that’s way too little for effective leveling. But this is how Doubleagent worked his way through the island with herbalism and mining for days, weeks, and months.
This is certainly not suitable for a “quick leveling” guide – but at least he managed to binge-watch numerous series in the meantime.
He is waiting for the next addon: On Twitter, Doubleagent announced after finally reaching max level that he would be “excited for the next expansion.” He probably deserves about two years of break before gathering herbs and ores begins again.
What do you think of Doubleagent and his achievement? A crazy thing and a pure waste of time? Or a strong perseverance and a damn cool action?
