A demon hunter in WoW has darkened the world so that he can hardly see like his character. The endeavor looks quite funny.
In World of Warcraft, players sometimes seek special challenges to level up in a very specific (or silly) way. Reddit user DaveyGunfaceIV apparently had a similar goal and leveled his demon hunter as it should be – almost blind. An addon helped him with that.
What happened? Reddit user DaveyGunfaceIV installed the interface addon “Ultimate Demon Hunter Immersion” and played a demon hunter from the beginning. His screen was almost completely black, just as many players imagine the “actual” sight of demon hunters. After all, they have gouged their eyes out during the transformation and wear a blindfold. This principle was probably meant to be expanded, and thus a character was leveled.
The whole action lasted 21 hours, in which DaveyGunfaceIV stumbled through the darkness and is now ready for the Shadowlands. If you can’t see the video below, you need to watch it directly on reddit.

What kind of addon is this? The addon “Ultimate Demon Hunter Immersion” was actually just a joke, but it was well received by some players. The addon blocks out a large part of the game and envelops the game world in darkness. Only all interface elements, including health bars or nameplates, are still visible. The demon hunter can, however, use his ability “Ghost Sight” to see clearly for a few seconds. This ability has a long cooldown, and damage taken disrupts Ghost Sight.

Other players have also made leveling particularly difficult in the past. Recently, players attempted to reach the maximum level 50 without a specialization. This is not so easy, as a large part of the abilities are then missing.
