A quest in WoW seems unsolvable for now. How does the “Defense of the Broken Isles” work?
Most players are currently hanging out on the World of Warcraft Broken Coast. There, alongside the new faction, the Court of Stars, there is also the completed Mage Tower, which offers quite challenging class challenges. Since this morning (04.04.2017), Maiev Shadowsong has also been there to give heroes a new quest. “The Defense of the Broken Isles” asks players to fend off a Legion invasion on the Broken Isles.
The background is easy to explain: While the players fight on the Broken Coast, Kil’Jaeden and his demon army thought, “let’s just attack the rest of the isles, they are probably undefended”.
The catch is: The demon invasions won’t be active until tomorrow, the 05.04.2017. Until then, the quest will only be in your quest log, gathering dust with other tasks, without being able to be completed.

Tomorrow after maintenance, the invasions on the Broken Isles should begin, and the various zones (Azsuna, Val’Sharah, Stormheim, and Highmountain) will be visited by the Burning Legion.
It is a bit awkward to already unlock a quest that cannot be completed. On the other hand, the wait time here is less than 24 hours – so it should be manageable.
