A WoW player from the German realm Antonidas has set an insane record by completing a dungeon “Mythic+19” solo.
In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, players consistently showcase impressive performances. Especially the tough “Mythic+” dungeons are popular to complete solo. While most might barely manage to finish a “Mythic+5” after investing considerable time and skill, there are a few players who know no limits. Such as the death knight Celalinda. He tackles “Mythic+19” solo.
What happened? The death knight Celalinda from the German server Antonidas ventured into the Halls of Atonement at a dizzying difficulty of Mythic +19. These dungeons are actually designed for well-coordinated groups of 5 players who know exactly what they are doing. The respective affixes were:
- Fortified
- Grievous
- Swarming
- Prideful
The affixes are generally considered relatively simple, as grievous and swarming have minimal effects if one moves correctly. However, the sheer strength of the enemies remains threatening, so most characters would die quickly.
What were the difficulties? Celalinda faced the greatest challenges with the second boss. The additional adds proved to be problematic, as they could deal massive spikes of damage in a short time. Here, the timing of interrupts and cooldowns had to be precisely accurate to survive the fight.
Blood death knights possess massive self-healing capabilities and can handle many damage spikes independently, without relying on a healer – at least when they play almost perfectly.
How long did the run take? Overall, the run lasted precisely 4 hours and involved quite a few difficulties. The death knight had to die 9 times before taking down the final boss and successfully completing the dungeon.
When was the video recorded? It was recorded during patch 9.0.5, over a week ago. This can, among other things, be recognized by the fact that the new media is still missing. However, Celalinda has an almost perfect item level of 229, which is hard to surpass. At least at the time of recording the video, as with patch 9.1 Chains of Domination, the maximum item level will soon increase significantly.
Repeating this feat will soon be quite challenging, as tomorrow (07.07.2021) the second season of Shadowlands begins. All dungeons will be significantly made tougher and the gathering of the best possible gear starts again.
