With a little trick, bandages can be used in WoW: Classic even while moving. We reveal how it works.
In World of Warcraft Classic, many aspects of the game are not yet as balanced as in later versions. Some things simply work differently. The one or other thing that today would clearly be a bug was tolerated back then as an exploitation of a game mechanic. This trick that we are introducing here is one of them:
You can heal other players with bandages while simultaneously moving.
How does it work? The YouTuber Nohitjerome demonstrated this in his video. In order for the trick with the bandages to work, one must put the bandages on one of the action keys, target the corresponding player, and then spam the key to use the bandage until two bandages have been used – this should take about 2 seconds.
As soon as the second bandage has been used, the healing character can move and follow the other player. The healing will not be interrupted.

What is this useful for? With a little practice, two players can coordinate and effectively use healing “on the move.” This can be useful in PvP when carrying a flag, but also in PvE when one needs to keep moving. However, it is particularly useful for pet classes (hunters and warlocks) that can heal their companion while he runs alongside them.
In addition, bandages in WoW: Classic are still quite powerful. Cloth classes like mages can be healed for about 80% of their health points at level 60 through a bandage – depending on their gear level.

What restrictions are there? First, this type of healing can only be applied to other characters. Healing yourself while moving is therefore not possible. Furthermore, the usual restrictions apply to this type of bandage usage. This means that the healing from the bandage is interrupted if:
- the healed player takes damage
- one of the two characters moves out of range
- the healing player uses an ability

Whether this is really how the developers intended it remains questionable. However, the fact is that it is possible and with a little practice allows for a small but significant boost in PvP or PvE.
