This twink in WoW Classic is a real raid boss. At level 19, he has significantly more health points than many characters at max level.
In World of Warcraft Classic, you can still take advantage of a whole range of mechanics and buffs that were changed in later versions of the game. This creates rather exaggerated effects. Now a druid seems to have really outdone himself, as he already has more health points at level 19 than many characters at level 60.
What is there to see? In the WoW Classic subreddit, the user Spanky_SBB posted a screenshot of his brother’s druid. This druid is roaming in his bear form in Warsong Gulch at level 19. The surprising part: He has a whopping 5,767 health points! That is considerably more than characters usually have at this level.
Just to give a rough comparison: When a mage freshly reaches level 60, he has significantly under 2,000 health points – and he’s already 41 levels ahead.
How did he do that? According to Spanky_SBB, the druid took advantage of a mechanic that can also be seen well on his buff bar. The arrow symbol belongs to the “Love is in the Air” buff. You can obtain this from any leader of your faction if they have won the Valentine’s Day popularity contest. If you give the flying love goblin Qixi Q. Pido a kiss, you get the buff. Each buff increases health points by 200.
If you log out after receiving the “Love is in the Air” buff for a week, you can then acquire another stack of it and possess it multiple times simultaneously.
Additionally, there is equipment that has high stamina values. Other stats have been completely ignored, the focus was solely on having a high amount of HP.
The result is a druid with so many health points that even many characters at level 60 are likely to be envious.
Will Blizzard fix this? That remains to be seen. Although this buff clearly belongs to WoW Classic, it was probably never intended by the developers to stack it this way. After all, the relevant druid becomes a small raid boss, at which level 19 twinks can have their fun for a while.
By the way – they still didn’t win the battlefield. According to the Reddit post, they lost 0-3. So it was not enough for more than a great “Wow!” effect.
