A warlock has achieved the incredible in WoW Classic by reaching level 60 – naked, without buffs and without accepting help.
World of Warcraft Classic is fundamentally not a difficult game. However, this changes when players impose special rules and restrictions on themselves to play the game, such as killing only pigs all day. One of these prerequisites is the “Iron Man” challenge, where characters have only a single life. But even that is not hard enough for some. The warlock Voivid has made this task even more extreme – and has now mastered it.
What did Voivid do? Voivid reached level 60 as a warlock. However, he did not choose the classic playstyle but imposed special restrictions on himself, which made the task significantly more difficult.
Iron Man “Hardcore” is even harder
These were the rules: The rules of the “Hardcore Iron Man” challenge are, as mentioned, a bit stricter. Voivid had to adhere to the following restrictions:
- He has only one life – if he dies, the character must be deleted.
- He is not allowed to wear equipment above common quality (white) (he did it naked).
- He cannot play in groups.
- He cannot trade with other players.
- The auction house cannot be used.
- Elixirs and potions cannot be used.
- Buffs from other players cannot be used.
- Dungeons, raids, and battlegrounds cannot be used.

How did he do it? Although this task is quite challenging for all classes and requires a lot of time and planning, Voivid has had it relatively easy. This is because he played a warlock. They can rely on voidwalkers that act as tanks. Thus, Voivid always has a thick cushion of hit points that keeps enemies away from him. If things get tough, he can simply flee and leave his voidwalker to die.
In the end, that was enough, and he reached level 60 while questing in Winterspring.
An impressive feat that puts many other “Iron Man” challenges to shame.
