After WoW: Classic comes the return of “The Burning Crusade” (TBC). Blizzard has officially announced Burning Crusade Classic – or rather leaked it.
For weeks and months, there has been speculation, and now it is finally official. Blizzard has leaked ahead of BlizzCon that the first WoW expansion “The Burning Crusade” will be released. This raises the level cap for players to level 70, and there are numerous new talents, dungeons, and bosses.
These are the highlights of The Burning Crusade (TBC)
New races and class combinations: With Burning Crusade, the Blood Elves have joined the Horde and the Draenei have joined the Alliance. This gives Horde players access to Paladins, while Alliance players can finally include Shamans in their ranks.
Flying mounts: With The Burning Crusade, flying mounts were implemented for the first time. They can only be used in the areas of the shattered world but serve an important purpose. After all, there are some quest areas that can only be reached with a flying mount.
Raids with cool villains: In the era of Burning Crusade, Blizzard released some of the coolest boss fights featuring the most important characters that the Warcraft universe had to offer. In nearly every major raid, there is a character of rank and name. You will fight against Kael’thas Sunstrider, the prince of the Blood Elves, or against Lady Vashj, one of the Naga leaders. And of course, the big battle against Illidan Stormrage at the end of the Black Temple cannot be missed.
Heroic dungeons: If normal dungeons are too boring for you, you can try heroic dungeons to overcome even tougher bosses and earn better rewards.
New profession – Jewelcrafting: Jewelcrafting comes as a new profession and allows players to equip socketed items in their gear with gems. This allows for a bit of customization of the gear and gives more freedom in choosing attributes. Jewelers can make good money selling gemstones to their fellow players.
Arena battles: PvP fans can finally show what they’re made of – in PvP arenas. In small groups, two teams fight against each other in a closed environment. It is rewarded with powerful PvP gear and exclusive mounts that are only available to the best of the best. Because only very few players can earn the coveted Gladiator title and secure a special mount.
How does it work with Burning Crusade Classic?
Will there be multiple phases again? Yes. Just as with WoW: Classic, the release of content in Burning Crusade Classic will also occur in several phases. Although there are no specific details about the content of each phase yet, Classic players should roughly know the rhythm. This allows newcomers and veterans to experience the content of Burning Crusade at an optimized pace and gradually battle through new content until they eventually reach the Sunwell Plateau to send Kil’Jaeden back to the Nether.
Does Burning Crusade Classic cost anything? No. Access to Burning Crusade Classic is included in the regular WoW subscription, which also allows you to play Classic or Retail. Therefore, there are no additional costs.
Is there already a release date? None has been announced yet. So, patience is required here.
