Spaces on the servers of WoW Classic are going like hot cakes. Blizzard must already add new realms.
Almost two days ago, the name reservation began for World of Warcraft Classic. In this, players were able to create up to 3 characters and secure their names, and Blizzard also benefited from this. The developers could thus estimate which realms are particularly popular and how player numbers are expected to look at launch. Now it is clear: There are too few realms. Blizzard is making adjustments.
Europe gets a new PvP realm: For the “Europe” region, all PvP realms are completely overcrowded and already marked as “Full”. Apparently, “full” in this case really means “packed”, because Blizzard announced that they will activate a new PvP realm tonight (14.08.). This will be named Gehennas and will be available for name reservation starting at 8:00 PM. So if you want to play on a multilingual realm and prefer PvP, you might consider choosing Gehennas.
German realms are already full: Taking a look at the two German realms, both are also displayed as “full”. Both the PvE realm Everlook and the PvP server Lucifron are already well filled. Here too, it is quite possible that Blizzard might add another realm if the influx of German-speaking fans continues to be so gigantic.
Russian and French realms almost empty: Interestingly, the situation with the Russian and French realms is quite different. Here, both realms are still displayed as “Low”. It seems that there are only a few Russian and French players who want to play on their own realms. Either there are just a few players or they have decided to prefer the multilingual realms.
Do you hope that the German-speaking region will also receive new realms? Or are the two enough because many players will disappear after the initial rush anyway?
