WoW Classic has received 4 new German realms – for PvP and PvE

For Germany, there are 4 new servers in World of Warcraft Classic. Both PvE and PvP players now have more options.

Update 16:30 – Shortly after the opening of Patchwerk, another PvP server was opened for Germany: Dragon’s Call.

Update 18:30 – Another new server has been opened. This time the PvE server Lakeshire invites you to play.

Update 18:54 – The PvP realm Transcendence has been opened.

Since the launch of World of Warcraft Classic a few hours ago, the realms have been fiercely overrun and in some cases even overloaded. There are often waiting times of several hours, at the end of which the login finally happens. Especially on PvP servers, the problem is particularly severe right now – but now there is some relief.

New German PvP and PvE servers: Blizzard has just opened a new German-speaking server. It is named “Patchwerk” and is consequently named after a boss from Naxxramas.

Shortly after, the opening of the server “Dragon’s Call” was announced. A few hours later, another server was opened, this time for PvE fans: Lakeshire. Shortly thereafter, another PvP server: Transcendence.

Now there are a total of 8 German-speaking realms:

Should you switch? If you are currently playing on one of the other two PvP servers (Lucifron or Venoxis) and struggling with the waiting queues, you should consider switching. If you haven’t decided yet where to play, you should definitely choose the new realm. There is still plenty of space for new players there, and thus the waiting times will be correspondingly short. With the current influx, the new realm will likely fill up again in some time.

Are more realms coming? Blizzard reserves the right to open more realms if there is demand. Especially the PvP servers seem to be particularly popular in Classic in the European area, as they are experiencing a particularly strong influx.

Since the opening of the first new realm Patchwerk, three more have already been added. It will remain to be seen when there are enough realms for the players.
