Those struggling with queues in World of Warcraft Classic can rejoice. Blizzard offers even more free character transfers.
Since the launch, WoW Classic has repeatedly experienced queues, sometimes lasting several hours. The popularity of the game does not seem to wane, as during “prime time” players still have to wait long to log in to their realm. This is particularly an issue on the PvP realms.
To shorten the queues, Blizzard is offering a free character transfer to another realm for many realms. This renews and expands the offer from a few days ago.
DDoS attacks also caused long wait times in recent days.
When does the offer start? Starting Thursday, September 12 at 1:00 AM, the character transfer will be available. It will remain open until Tuesday, September 17, also at 1:00 AM. So if you want to choose a new realm, you should take advantage of this time.
Which realms are affected? Whether you can transfer characters for free depends on which realm you are currently playing on. For the German realms, the following transfer options are available:

What conditions are there? Certain conditions must be met for the character transfer to be carried out; otherwise, a transfer is not possible. These include:
- The character cannot be a guild leader.
- The character cannot have active auctions.
- The character cannot have mail in the mailbox.
Additionally, there are a few small warnings from Blizzard:
- You may need to rename your character on the new realm if the name is already taken.
- You cannot switch to a PvP server if you already have a character of the other faction there.
- The character transfer is one-time only and cannot be undone. Blizzard support cannot modify or oversee the transfer.
- The character transfer may take several hours, especially during peak play times.
