Players of World of Warcraft will have an old wish fulfilled. Soon they will be able to liberate Azeroth from their problems almost naked.
In World of Warcraft, players can customize their gear on a grand scale. Through the transmogification system, it is possible to give equipment a different appearance. However, there are quite strict rules that will be relaxed in the upcoming patch. With Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, your character can stroll through Azeroth (almost) naked without losing strength.
Transmog rules have been absurd at times: For years, fans have complained that the transmog rules are relatively absurd. Blizzard had previously stated that they wanted a certain look for characters that doesn’t seem too silly or absurd, as that would not be good for the game. That this was no longer the case with the old rules was proven by many fans, as they fought with mugs or fish as weapons.
This changes with Patch 8.2: With Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, Blizzard finally responds to the community’s pleas and changes some restrictions of the transmogification system. From now on, all armor pieces will have an option at the transmogifier to be completely hidden. The only exceptions are weapons and the character’s pants. Weapons are still needed for many attack animations, and pants are probably Blizzard’s last bastion against nudity.
Players are looking for the most airy clothing: This certainly does not stop players from already searching for the best pants models that allow a character to wear as little fabric (or metal) as possible. YouTuber Hazel from her channel Hazelnuttygames has created a suitable video and compiled a selection of different pants that keep a character as unembellished as possible.
Most of these items can be purchased at the auction house, but some are only available from certain reputation vendors. In any case, there are enough options to prance through the game world in reasonably airy clothing in the upcoming patch.
