There is another round of buffs and nerfs in World of Warcraft. We will tell you how your class is changing soon.
The first season of World of Warcraft: The War Within has been live for 3 weeks. It repeatedly becomes clear which classes are currently performing particularly well and which are lagging behind. Blizzard aims to ensure that all classes and specializations are on an even playing field. Therefore, there will soon be a number of sometimes massive buffs to bring DPS characters a bit closer together.
The big winners of the changes are Shadow Priests, but Paladins and Mages can also look forward to strong improvements. All classes will receive at least minor adjustments.
The most important class changes on 09.10.2024 in WoW
We summarize the most important changes for you here. If you are interested in all changes in detail, you can view the complete class adjustments on page 2 of this article in detail.
- Blood Death Knights receive strong improvements to the San’layn hero talents. The damage of 5 talents is increased by up to 30%.
- Demon Hunter tanks will become tougher and heal themselves stronger than before.
- Druid healers deal 5% more healing with all abilities.
- Summoners receive minor nerfs in healing and buffs. They were simply too strong.
- Hunters receive adjustments to Beast Mastery (buff and nerf), Survival Hunters get an improved tier set.
- Mages receive strong buffs to the Frostfire hero talents.
- Monks are pleased with a strong buff to the Master of Harmony.
- Paladins will be adjusted. Overall healing is nerfed by 5%, but there are other buffs for healing individual abilities. Protection and Retribution Paladins dealt significantly more damage than Templars and Lightsmiths.
- Shadow Priests receive significant buffs, especially with the Voidweaver. There is +10% more damage on almost all abilities.
- Rogues receive an adjustment to their set for the Assassination specialization, which should slightly increase damage. Outlaw Rogues deal 4% more damage.
- Shamans will be nerfed in Restoration – both their Earth Shield and the damage from Acid Rain.
- Demonology Warlocks receive stronger demons that become better all around.
- Warriors are nerfed as Butchers but buffed as Mountain Thanes – however, rage regeneration is slightly decreased.
When do the changes go live? As usual, the major adjustments to classes will go live with the maintenance on Wednesday, on 09.10.2024. From then on, you can enjoy the new buffs and squeeze a bit more performance out of your character in dungeons, raids, and depths.
A thing that unfortunately will not be fixed is the great deletion of the guild bank that has deprived hundreds of guilds of years of playtime.
