World of Warcraft has started the celebrations for its 21st birthday. There are a few small innovations, but many old highlights.
November is always the time in World of Warcraft when Blizzard’s MMORPG celebrates its own birthday. Years ago, it was just a small event, but now it has become a large event with its own hub and numerous rewards. As usual, it is celebrated in Tanaris at the Caverns of Time. However, even for the 21st birthday, there are at least a few small innovations.
Where and when does the event take place? The birthday event in World of Warcraft takes place from November 16 to December 7. You have 3 weeks to earn the rewards. Most of the event occurs in the Caverns of Time in Tanaris, but there are individual events – such as special bosses – scattered all over the world.
What new rewards are there? Overall, the event in 2025 has very few innovations to offer, so you can quickly tick these off if you already have everything from previous years. New are:
- The title “Enthusiast of Khaz Algar”
- The armor set “Loyal Guardian”
Both rewards can be purchased for Time-warped Badges – they can be easily farmed, so you can complete the event in just a few minutes.
What else is there at the event? Aside from the new rewards, most of the items from the previous year are still available. This includes the various HD versions of the Tier 2 sets. Also returning is a significant XP buff if you want to level a character through “normal” WoW and are not currently using the leveling turbo in Legion Remix. Because new content is also coming soon there, like one of the best cinematics of all time.
