More and more players are being invited to the Alpha of Battle for Azeroth, and thus the number of people who search through game files and the game world for every little detail is increasing. One thing already seems clear: In the upcoming addon of World of Warcraft, there are many new mounts.
Recently mined from game data by wowhead are buzzards with saddles and a lot of embellishments.
But it’s not only these mounts that have been discovered, but also clear connections to a race: the Vulpera.
That these buzzards have a connection to the Vulpera and thus to the new faction of the Voldunai was noticed by fans on the “Vulpera Hype Caravan” Discord server. They noticed the embellishments: they are largely identical in the constructions of the Vulpera and the buzzards. Why exactly the Vulpera adorn their buzzards with fox tails, when they themselves are a fox-like race, will surely be answered by the quests…
10 different buzzards
A total of 10 different colorations of the mounts have already been discovered in the game data.
However, this does not guarantee that they will actually be used, as some colorations of mounts are simply packed into the game as a precaution or only used by certain NPCs.
It’s also possible that the buzzards will only be used at flight points and will never be controllable by players – everything is still very speculative.
